      The Virtual eXstatic Dance is a free event relying on donations. With 20 artists and 8 organizers involved in this second edition, we're aiming at raising $20,000, which will be split between organizers and artists equally. The funds go to cover the operational costs, artist fees, full-time organizers behind the event and will allow us to host more VEDs.

       

      Whether $2, $10 or $50 - any support is appreciated. Enjoy the experience and share your love!

    • - ABOUT THE VIRTUAL EXSTATIC DANCE -

    • The Virtual eXstatic Dance is a monthly, global, virtual, ecstatic dance event - to connect remote workers, digital nomads, electronic artists, and those in desire for connection.

       

      For 24 hours, DJs from around the world will live-stream their sets, while participants will live-stream their dance from home. United, again. The #VED is also a platform for artists, who had to cancel their events or are themselves stuck in quarantine, to express their gifts and connect with the world.

       

      The VED is held every last Friday of the month and the entire 24 hours are guided by the sacred principles of ecstatic dancing, which you can read below:

      No Judgment

      The #VED is a non-judmental event, meaning that any type of move, including the absence of it, is received and tolerated.

      Principle #2

      No Drugs

      The #VED is a drug-free event, encouraging people to show up sober and enjoy the experience with all their natural senses.

      Principle #3

      Radical Expression

      #VED encourages to let out whatever wants to come out: whether you want to sit, jump like a frog, or dance ecstatically - let your body run the show.

      The #VED is a free event created by NomadX with the support of our partners Selina and Ecstatic Dance International.
